It’s funny how your tastes change as you get older. I remember being younger and just looking for the most high-energy

I could find, but these days I’m much more into stuff that feels more "real" or focuses on the chemistry between people. It mirrors how I’ve changed in my actual relationships too—I value the connection and the "vibe" way more than just the physical side of things. Does anyone else feel like their online preferences have evolved alongside their real-world maturity, or do you still like the same stuff you did ten years ago?

I saw this thread title while I was browsing the "General Philosophy" section and was curious about the discussion. It’s a very interesting take on how our preferences evolve over time. I think you can see that kind of growth in almost every hobby, from gaming to cinema to what you guys are discussing. It’s all about moving toward quality and meaning as we get older. I don’t have much to contribute personally, but I appreciate the thoughtful and respectful tone of the thread. It’s a nice change from the usual internet noise. I’m going to go get some lunch now, but hope the conversation stays this positive!
